Trust & Privacy

How we honor your information

This page is maintained by the Daughters of Release team to answer common questions about privacy and security for visitors who share their information with us. It reflects current practices and is updated as our ministry grows.

What we collect

When you submit the interest form on our site, we collect the email address you provide and — if you choose to share them — your name, the type of gathering you are interested in, and any personal note you include. We collect only what you enter; we do not require an account.

How we use it

  • To send you a confirmation email and follow up with details about the Annual Release and quarterly accountability gatherings.
  • To respond personally to messages you send through the form.
  • To improve the experience of our site and gatherings.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Consent & unsubscribing

We only email you after you check the consent box on the registration form. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also write to us at the address below to be removed.

Security controls in place

  • Data submitted through our site is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Registration data is stored in a managed database with row-level access policies, so only authorized server code can read or write it.
  • Our email-sending endpoint is restricted to trusted server-to-server calls and cannot be triggered by site visitors directly.
  • Email addresses that bounce or unsubscribe are added to a suppression list and are not contacted again.

Subprocessors we rely on

We use vetted infrastructure providers to host our site, store our database, and deliver email on our behalf. These providers process information only as needed to operate the service. If you would like specifics about a particular provider, contact us and we will share them.

Retention

We keep your registration information for as long as you wish to hear from us. If you ask us to remove your information, we will delete it from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep limited records (for example, suppression records that ensure we do not email you again).

Privacy requests & contact

To access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to ask any question about this page, please reach out to us and we will respond personally within 7 days.
